What is the RCCF ? |

How did the RCCF come into existence ? |
In 1995, a few french campers went to a classic caravan meet in Belgium. Under the friendly pressure and general enthusiasm of the various european clubs that were represented, Bruno Choquel decided to organize an international meet in France the following year. A non-profit organisation was created to facilitate contacts with various institutions involved. The international meet was a great succes. A number of people asked to become a member of this new club : the RCCF was born ! The RCCF has been growing ever since. We celebrated our 50th member in 1998. Since 1999, at least 5 events per year are being organised by our members (check our calendar). Every year, RCCF participates in the International Meet that brings together the european classic caravan clubs. The new millenium has welcomed us with member number 100 ! |

What does the RCCF have to offer ? |
L'Escargot : if you speak french fluently you will have no difficulties reading our club magazine, full of news and information. Tech info : we enable our members to exchange tech tips and information concerning classic caravaning. Meets : a few times a year we gather to enjoy ou classic camping equipment. Those weekends are excellent occasions to exchange experiences, memories, tips and to enjoy meeting people with a common intrest. You are more likely to see a camp fire than a television set. Though period cars are a plus, they are definitely not a requirement. Web site : to those who have been used to surfing on our web site in English we apologize for we no longer have a volunteer to translate. We hope you'll find your way through the French maze... |
